As each estate will be different, prices are charged depending on the time spent by the Director at a rate of £180 including VAT per hour***, plus the probate court fee, currently £273.
We estimate that it would typically take between 20 – 30 hours to complete this work.
Typically, our fees could therefore be between £3,600 – £5,400 plus VAT plus probate court fees and disbursements**
Our pricing is based upon a straightforward estate. Typically, this would be one where there:
- is a valid will
- no more than one residential property
- no more than 4 bank or building society accounts
- no more than 3 beneficiaries
- no disputes between the beneficiaries on the distribution of the assets
- no claims made against the estate
If there is no will, multiple properties and bank/building society account and assets such as stocks and bonds, there may be additional costs, which we can advise you on once we have reviewed all the information.
